Inspirational Oncology Text: "What Cancer Cannot Do"

This text appears in many of the DonnaBellas Angels art. From online searches, the most that was found about the original authorship was that is supposedly first appeared in the 1960's in an Ann Landers column. There has been variations in the printed text. Sometime it has "...kill friendship" or "kill friendships". Paintings have both options. Links to the art with this text at the bottom of the page.

What Cancer Cannot Do

Cancer is so limited...

It cannot cripple love

It cannot shatter hope

It cannot corrode faith

It cannot destroy peace

It cannot kill friendship(s)

It cannot suppress memories

It cannot silence courage

It cannot invade the soul

It cannot steal eternal life

It cannot conquer the spirit.
