DonnaBellas Angels Future Plans
Please see our blog for current updates at http://donnabellasangels.blogspot.com/
We are hoping to increase distribution to medical clinics. Right now we are working by word of mouth, but with increased fundraising we plan to proactively contact institutions to inform them of our organization and services.
We plan to offer more products like a pillow, "My Angel" angel figurines, and rag doll angel pattern. An oncology nurse suggested turning the paintings into a figurine that patients could hold onto while getting their cancer treatment. We will create a new painting that will be painted specifically for a fabric pattern that people can download and print from our website (at no charge). The image will be a high quality image that people can print on special inkjet paper which can be use for fabric transfer. Check back later for this product!
DonnaBellas Angels History
We are a non-profit dedicated to providing inspirational art with healing images to medical clinics, patients, and caregivers. Our aim to help provide emotional healing to patients and their caregivers who are receiving treatment for chronic or terminal illnesses.
DonnaBellas Angels donates original paintings to medical clinics that have inspirational healing themes. In addition, DonnaBellas Angels provides art prints that nurses, patient advocates, and hospital chaplains can distribute directly to patients and caregivers. DonnaBellas Angels also provides its art free to groups who want to fundraise for medical research, e.g., Relay-For-Life team banner and t-shirts.
The idea for our group started about in 2005 as Angels4Oncology when founder, Laurel Latto, had an idea for a cancer angel painting. We became a non-profit in 2007 and had our final Federal approvals by the end of 2008. We are an exempt 501(c)3 non-profit with the IRS.
